I have lived in Barre, Vermont for two years. Prior to living in Barre, I lived in Richmond, Vermont. I have four children,
one boy and three girls. I have spent a great deal of time with teaching my children how to read and write. I enjoy playing
educational games with children. I knew that I wanted to become a teacher when I drove a school bus for two years, and loved
being around the children. I am in the process of writing a creative fiction novel. I also enjoy reading mainly Fiction, and
Historical Non-fiction novels. I am still attending Community College of Vermont. My expected graduation date is in May
of 2005.
Writing has been a very large part of my life since I was a young child. I have also enjoyed reading various styles of
writing such as poetry, and creative fiction. I am rewarded when I have the opportunity to help someone learn how to read
or write. Much of my childhood and adolescence was spent helping my peers study, and aiding young children in their reading
and writing practice. I am ready to become an English teacher for High School.
